About Me
- Mrs Linee
- I was born in Glasgow, Scotalnd and moved with my family to Geelong, Australia in 1981. I love to cook, I love to craft and I love to remember days now gone. This blog is as much for me as it is for anyone else, It's a way to express, share and remember. Linee pronounced Line-e is a name giving to some years ago by a friend’s daughter who found it difficult to say Caroline as a little girl, over the years it has stuck and now I am known to many as Linee.

Just read this little story. Thought it is appropriate to your mosaic - poverty.
"Hundreds of stranded starfish were dying along a beach, & an old man was slowly throwing them back into the sea one by one. Someone came along and pointed out that his task was hopeless and told him, "It won't make any difference, there are too many for you to save them." But the old man help up a starfish and said, "It makes a difference to this one," and then threw it back in the sea.
what a heartfelt collection - thank you so much for posting this & raising awareness.
Sad, I saw a pic on facebook the other day of a baby dying in Africa and a vulture waiting behind for the kid to dye.
Kim, great story.
