About Me

My photo
I was born in Glasgow, Scotalnd and moved with my family to Geelong, Australia in 1981. I love to cook, I love to craft and I love to remember days now gone. This blog is as much for me as it is for anyone else, It's a way to express, share and remember. Linee pronounced Line-e is a name giving to some years ago by a friend’s daughter who found it difficult to say Caroline as a little girl, over the years it has stuck and now I am known to many as Linee.

Foundation 61 Inc

My husband Rob and I are involved with a Christian Ministry here in Geelong called Foundation 61.

Rob is the program director and I am involved in teaching life skills (cooking) and administration. We work with a group of about 60 volunteers who are involved either with our live in program or Storehouse 61 our Op Shop (Second hand shop).
Foundation61 is a short to medium term residential program for people dealing with life controlling issues.
At Foundation 61 our approach is to assist the whole person offering a holistic approach to individuals on the journey of recovery.
Within the community we offer a variety of resources & life skills to assist individuals wanting to rebuild a broken life.
